Hundreds of artists from all over the world perform in Vegalité every year. We present mainly bands that are not represented by OSA organisation and its equivalents in the world. Bands and artists that perform in Vegalité are a part of the so-called DYI (do it yourself) scene, which is an underground and non-commercial part of the world of music. Any money collected as admission fee (minus the costs related to organizing of the event) is provided directly to performers to cover their expenses related to travelling through Europe or between continents.
Events are not intended to make anybody rich, which is clearly reflected in the admission fee amount. Very often, the admission is free or we leave it up to you whether you pay anything for being at the concert. The idea behind live shows in Vegalité is to give everybody the opportunity to participate in unique and independent cultural events. Vegalité hosted performances of bands like Birds In Row, Dezerter, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Eastern Standard Time, Lvmen or Zuby Nehty.
Since 2025, our club activities are supported by: City of Brno, Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and South Moravian Region.
